Our Blue Thunder team again played Corona but lost 9-0, ending their tournament season.  After a long day of baseball the fatigued BV team did not score but got two hits each from Jack McGrew and Coleman Brigman.  BV also got offense from Logan Reulman and Austin Simmerok.  Emilio Vindiola gave good effort on the pitching mound for BV.

BV is proud of the 2010 Pinto A All Star team!  They progressed far into the PintoWorld Series tournament and was argueably the best NorCal Pinto team this season!

The Pinto All Star A team rebounded with a 5-0 victory over Bel Passi from Modesto.  BV got offense with two hits from Coleman Brigman and a bases clearing double from Jason Siri.  There were great at bats and baserunning from both Chris Leipelt and Ronan Cassidy.  The pitching was led by Jack McGrew and Ryan Cormier.  Cormier struck out 5 batters in two innings work.

Fri 7/16 1pm. The Pinto All Star A team lost a tough game to SoCal team Corona by a score of 4-3. After shaky defense in the first inning the BV Blue Thunder got into a hole and faced an uphill battle. BV chipped away during the game with hits from Jonathan Cymrot, Gregory Bloomquist, and AJ Locatelli, however came up short to tie the game. Our Pinto team got great pitching from Jack McGrew, Coleman Brigman, Jonathan Cymrot, and Jason Siri.

The Pinto All-Star A team defeated Tara Hills 10-0 in the opening game of the Pinto World Series hosted by San Jose PAL. Great pitching by Coleman Brigman, Jonathan Cymrot, and Jason Siri combined for a total of 15 strikeouts and allowing only 3 hits. The offense was led by Jason Siri who had 3 hits including a 3-run HR in the 3rd inning. Nine different players combined for 12 total hits. The next game is Friday 7/16/10 at 3:00pm against Corona
