The BV 10U Blast had a very successful tournament in our first of the 2012 Spring Club Ball season this weekend by compiling a overall record of  2-1 finishing 3rd. The BV Blast set an overall tournament best by scoring 40 runs in our first two games while giving up 0 runs, while finishing pool play on day 1 as the # 1 seed. Unfortunately, the team performance was flat on Sunday and eventually lost 6 – 4 after a very close back and fourth game with the Bandits. The Blast achieved many tournaments first statistically but fell short to accomplish our first tournament championship. In short we learned alot from the weekend and had a great time playing tournament baseball. One thing that stood out besides our performance on Saturday  was the many compliments we got from many other team managers and coaches on how talented our team is and how well our boys played. Many thought we were the best team in the field although we did not play up to it on Sunday. The Blast staff and Parents were very proud of our boys and expect big things to come in the near future.
