The Blossom Valley Jr. Bees 10U travel baseball team participated in the NorCal Travel Baseball Back 2 School Bash Tournament at Twin Creeks on August 15th and 16th. The team won their first two games on Saturday, placing them in the 2nd place bracket for Sunday’s play.
The Bees first game on Sunday was against the Cupertino Baystars and upon winning 9-0, they moved forward to the semi-finals. Next, they faced the Concord Patriots, winning 11-2 and advancing them into the championship game against the Belmont Blasters.

The Jr Bees came to hit. Before the second inning had ended, the Bees had a lead of 9-3. Belmont tried to stay in the game, but the Bees great pitching and fielding was too much for the Blasters. The final score was 10-4. Overall, the Jr Bees scored 56 runs to the competition’s 12 runs in the tournament, creating quite a buzz in San Jose.
