The 12U BV Softball Team will hold a batting practice on Tuesday November  29th, 7:00 pm, at the Southbay Sports training facility.

The 12U BV Softball Team will hold a tryout Saturday December 3rd, 12:30-1:30 pitchers and catchers, 1:30-3:30 position players at the Valley Christian Softball Field.

The 12u BV Girls Club Softball Team is focused on improving player skills, techniques, knowledge, and enjoyment of softball.

We will accomplish this by practicing, playing and competing at a high level under the guidance of a quality, competent and enthusiastic coaching staff.

Commitment: We will practice and play from January through July.

Practice: Practices are twice a week.  Attendance is mandatory.  We are powered by Stars and Kali Baseball.  As such we practice and train at their facilities.

Friendlies: We will participate in as many friendlies early in the year as time and weather permits.

Tournaments: Most tournaments will be “local” (Fremont, Hayward, Twin Creeks, and Salinas).  We will play in 8 or more tournaments.

Roster: 10 – 12 slots

Fees: This is a non-profit team, run through a non-profit organization, with a non-paid coaching staff.  As such all fees are pass through.  The per player breakdown is ~$120-$150 per month depending on the number of players, tournaments, and additional items purchased (Bag, helmet etc…).

Playing Time & Positions:

Saturday’s are the “players day”.  We will ask them what they want to work on and will help them to execute.  As their skill level permits each player will get time at primary and secondary positions on Saturday.  Pitchers and catchers should expect rotate on Saturday.

Sunday is the teams day.  We will put forward the hot hand and bats and play for the win.  Players will be expected to know the signs, their assignments, and execute.  The ACE on Saturday should expect the start on Sunday.
